ACTIVE RESCUE: A Train Took Soel's Front Legs. Please Help Us Save His Life.
|
When Soel was found beside a railway track, he was lying in a pool of blood, unable to move after being struck by a speeding train.
The impact had catastrophically destroyed both of his front legs, leaving him in unimaginable pain. Kind strangers rushed him to Baw Baw Animal Welfare, where our veterinary team immediately began emergency treatment to stabilize him. Despite the severity of his injuries, Soel is still fighting. After examination, our veterinarians confirmed that both front legs are beyond repair. The only way to save his life and prevent devastating infection is through emergency double amputation surgery. Right now, Soel is receiving IV fluids, antibiotics, pain medication, and around-the-clock care while we work to raise the funds needed for his surgery. Although his body is broken, his spirit remains strong, and we believe he deserves the chance to live free from pain and discover what love and safety truly feel like. The cost of surgery, hospitalization, medications, and rehabilitation is far beyond what we can cover alone. We are asking for your help to give this sweet boy the second chance he so desperately deserves. Please consider making a donation today. Every dollar brings Soel one step closer to the life-saving surgery he urgently needs. If you're unable to donate, sharing his story could help save his life. A train took away Soel's legs, but together we can make sure it doesn't take away his future. |
